Work to remove decaying and unhealthy trees in Preston’s Winckley Square Gardens, ahead of a £1.2million restoration scheme getting underway, has now finished. The work has seen seventeen trees removed from the Gardens, which were in poor health and condition. In the coming days work to level out and re-seed areas affected by the work. Read more.
